I address three research questions on amending the Constitution of Kenya 2010 after 2017. First, whether the Constitution has addressed the targeted challenges and aspirations. What are the interests of the people and the leading politicians? The second question is whether the Constitution is ripe for amendments – and which are necessary or desirable. The third question relates to the appropriate Constitution amendment process including popular participation.
